AltiBrain - Medical Collateral
Altibrain is a nutritional intervention designed to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) by improving social communication and reducing repetitive behaviors.
Although the product was being prescribed by doctors, many parents were unsure how to administer the capsule correctly. The bottle provided only limited instructions, leading to confusion about dosage, food combinations, and the correct method of consumption.
To bridge this communication gap, I designed a patient-friendly administration pamphlet that doctors could distribute alongside every Altibrain prescription.

Parents found it difficult to understand how to administer Altibrain capsules correctly because the bottle had limited instructions. The multiple feeding methods and dosage guidelines often created confusion during everyday use.

Understanding the Challenge
Parents caring for children with ASD often receive several medical instructions at once. While Altibrain is easy to administer once understood, the packaging alone could not explain the complete process. Questions such as what food to mix it with, how much to use, when to give it, and what to avoid were common. The challenge was to transform technical instructions into a simple guide that parents could understand within seconds.
Designing for Clarity
To make the administration process simple and stress-free for parents, I designed the pamphlet with a focus on clarity and accessibility.
Designed a single-fold administration pamphlet in Canva following Altibrain's brand guidelines.
Simplified complex medical instructions into an easy-to-follow 3-step visual guide.
Used the Altiman mascot to make the instructions engaging and approachable for children and parents.
Included a dosage chart, recommended food options, important tips, and a QR code for additional guidance.
Used Inter typography, clear illustrations, and structured spacing to improve readability.
Created a print-ready educational collateral for doctors to distribute alongside every Altibrain prescription.
Making Instructions Easy to Follow
Instead of presenting long medical paragraphs, the information was broken into visual sections.
The pamphlet guides parents through:

Ongoing Impact
The administration pamphlet serves as a practical companion to every Altibrain prescription, helping parents confidently administer the medicine at home. By combining simple illustrations, concise instructions, and a structured layout, the collateral improves understanding while maintaining consistency with the Altibrain brand.
